David starts his career as a waiter´s assistant at the age of 24 in the restaurant of ¨Hotel Illa D’Or¨ in Puerto de Pollensa.
He quickly aquires enough knowledge to become an assistant of the headwaiter.
After this experience he starts working in ¨Hotel Juma¨ in Pollensa where he stays for a year before joining the team of ¨Hotel Relais Chateaux Son Brull¨ in Pollensa.
This is the place where he meets Andreu Genestra for the first time and also, where he has his first contact with ´avant-garde cuisine´.
When he is offered to work a few months with the Roca brothers in their Restaurant ¨El Celler de Can Roca¨ he takes this opportunity with both hands.
Two years later he goes to Barcelona where he will reside the following eight years. He works at ¨Hotel Neri¨ and ¨Hotel Chic & Basic¨ until he has the possibility to manage Restaurant ¨El Toc de Gracia¨, an opportunity he cannot resist.
In 2008 his career takes a new turn by accepting a management position at ¨Club Vintage Barcelona¨.
Two years later, in 2010, he fulfills his dream of running his own restaurant in the ¨El Born¨ neighborhood in Barcelona.
In 2013 Andreu offers him to run the lounge of the Restaurant Andreu Genestra. At present David is Andreu’s right hand man and is in charge of running of the lounge,all the team ,all of his restaurants and also the flow of the catering.
